Clinics
Mother and Baby
Child Health Clinics are held here at the surgery every Monday afternoon from 1.30pm to 3.00pm. This clinic is for immunisations and there is also a GP available for any checks. The clinic is for well babies only. There is no Health Visitor at this clinic on Monday.
There is a Baby Clinic where you can have your baby weighed and see the Health Visitor on Tuesday afternoons from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. The Health Visitors offer support, advice and home visits to families with children under 5 years. They can be contacted via Middleton Health Centre on 0113 2077000.
Vaccinations
Routine and Travel Vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our Nurses. A fee may be charged for some vaccinations. Flu Clinics are held in October.
Asthma
Asthma is very common now and modern asthma care has been shown to be most successful at both reducing symptoms and preventing attacks and exacerbations. Even if you have had asthma for many years, you should attend an appointment with the Practice Nurse to make sure you are having the most appropriate regime for you; many asthmatics who suffered for years have had their lives greatly improved by a more modern regime. Please ask the Reception staff to book you a double appointment with the Nurse for an asthma check.
Diabetic
Our highly motivated Doctors and Nurses help patients both newly diagnosed and already living with diabetes to understand and manage their diabetes with a 21st Century approach.
Heart Disease
We have a trained nurse who will review all patients with coronary heart disease once a year. She will advise on lifestyle and ensure that you are taking the correct medication.
Wednesday 08:30am - 11:30am (appointment by invitation only)
Minor Surgery
Clinics are held every month for removal of lumps and bumps. Your Doctor will tell you if you need minor surgery. Your name will be placed on a waiting list and you will be invited to attend an appointment at the surgery where your procedure will be carried out.
